Sur papier 1993-2023 - Nathalie Du Pasquier

Au printemps 2024, la villa Noailles invitait Nathalie Du Pasquier à exposer ses dessins à l’Hôtel des Arts, à Toulon. Cette exposition avait été l’occasion
d’une première publication intitulée Arrangements, un petit livre imaginé comme un mini-catalogue. 
Un an après, nous publions Sur papier, 1993–2023, qui revient sur trente années de travail. Vues de l’exposition et dessins s’enchaînent au fil des pages, en compagnie de réflexions de l’artiste sur sa pratique. Un livre conçu par Nathalie, qui
se présente donc à la fois comme un catalogue, un recueil et un livre d’artiste. Et qui constitue également un document passionnant sur ce rapport très simple et intime qui la lie au travail sur papier. 

Le livre contient un texte de Pierre Charpin et un entretien avec Luca Lo Pinto. 
Il a été mis en page par Vincent Tuset-Anrès (Fotokino).

In the spring of 2024, Villa Noailles invited Nathalie Du Pasquier to exhibit her drawings at the Hôtel des Arts in Toulon. This exhibition led to a first publication titled Arrangements, a small book conceived as a mini-catalogue. One year later, we are publishing On Paper, 1993–2023, a look back at thirty years of work. Exhibition views and drawings unfold page after page, accompanied by the artist’s reflections on her practice. Designed by Nathalie herself, the book stands as a catalogue, a collection, and an artist’s book all at once. It also serves as a fascinating document of the simple and intimate relationship she maintains with working on paper. 

The book includes a text by Pierre Charpin and an interview with Luca Lo Pinto (all texts in French).
