« J’ai été invité par le Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum à créer une suite graphique pour le catalogue de l’exposition “The Way There and Back” à laquelle je participais en 2018. J’ai pensé à tous les petits objets que je touche dans une journée et auxquels je ne prête habituellement pas beaucoup attention. » Dans les dix pages de My Things, McGuire étudie en détail les gestes du quotidien et l’interaction avec les objets qui nous entourent et le ballet millimétré qu’ils occasionnent chaque jour, qui rythme et structure nos vies.

I thought about all the small objects I interact with in a day and that I don’t usually pay much attention to.” In the ten pages of My Things, McGuire studies very closely the everyday gestures and interactions we have with the objects around us and the ballet they generate each day, which give rhythm and structure to our lives.
